Pediatric Outpatient Therapy
Maximizing Each Child’s Potential
Through Meeting Street Therapeutic Services
As a child grows and develops they sometimes need specialized help in a specific learning or development area or areas. At Meeting Street, we have experts in a wide range of therapeutic practices that help children overcome challenges they are experiencing at home, in school or other environments.
The therapists at Meeting Street are here to help both diagnose the therapy needs of children and to implement therapies. The majority of our therapeutic services clients come to us at our state of the art facility to receive these services from Meeting Street's highly qualified experts. Meeting Street also offers small group sessions focused on skills that some children learn best when they are with other children facing the same challenge.
Meeting Street offers physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy. Children who suffer from sensory processing disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder will benefit from our therapist’s expertise and the equipment we have available in our sensory integration services. At Meeting Street we have a therapeutic pool that has become one of the most effective, and most popular, places to do therapy.
Hearing challenges can be assessed through our audiology services. When necessary, a program will be developed for the child to help enhance his or her abilities. All of our practices are staffed by experts in each of the respective fields who develop individualized programs for each child. These experts take a personal approach to working with each child and their parents or caretakers to make sure that everyone can help implement the therapy techniques at home so the child can practice throughout the week. If needed, we also communicate with schools and teachers so they can implement therapies during the school day.
At Meeting Street our goal is to help children overcome challenges and maximize their potential so they can successfully participate with their peers in daily activities. We are proud to say that through our therapeutic services we have helped hundreds of children reach their goals so they thrive at home, in school and at play.
