Scholarships

The Grace School at Meeting Street offers one of the first fully inclusive K-8 education programs in the country where children with disabilities learn side-by-side — all day, every day — with peers who do not have special needs. Kindergarten and first grade are fully inclusive now, and The Grace School’s goal is to implement inclusion at one grade per year until all classrooms are inclusive in 2014. Meeting Street recognizes that a fully inclusive school must reflect all of a community’s diversity including learning style, race, ethnicity, economic status, and gender. Our new campus is in one of Providence’s most diverse neighborhoods and greatly enhances our ability to serve children from families with economic challenges who are experiencing frequent displacement, language barriers, and other factors known to impede a child’s development. The tuition for a student without special needs is $7,900 per year, and to make this educational opportunity affordable to the community, we are actively raising funds to support our scholarship needs.
